A Message From Spirit
It seems you have forgotten who you truly are. We say it seems, since it Truth, in Reality, you have not forgotten. You know very well who you are. In the dream, that which you have been calling reality, you seem to have forgotten. Why did you do this? This dream, this illusion, was placed on you many, many years ago. It was not only you who put the dream into place, there were others who helped make the dream. You knew what you were doing. You knew the journey would be long. After such a long journey, it is not surprising that you have lost hope, that your faith is failing. Forgive yourself for not feeling confident of your Path. It is a normal part of the trip. To bring yourself into realization of your own True Self will not be easy, nor is it difficult. It is not easy because the dream, the illusion, is so strongly anchored into surface consciousness. Surface consciousness is that part of you that operates in the dream. It is the part of you that you tend to identify with. You must go deeper within your consciousness to discover the True Self. When you do this, the surface consciousness will attempt to stop you. It is a built-in mechanism for its survival. It is time to go beyond survival for this surface consciousness, however, it is not up to the surface consciousness to do this. How could it? It was not manufactured that way. It was made to keep you in the dream, to allow you to experience the illusion. It is not difficult to realize your own True Self, since your own True Self has not forgotten itself. What you are wishing to do is to bring that awareness forward, making it accessible to the senses used by the surface consciousness. The surface consciousness, or shall we call it the ego, is accustomed to experiencing itself through the five senses. You must allow your own True Self to make itself know with energies that are not of the five senses. How can you possibly do that which you have no training nor knowledge of? You cannot. That is why it seems difficult. You, the you who you think you are, or the ego, cannot do this thing. All that you, the ego, can do, is allow the awakening to take place, to continually clear space for your own True Self to bring itself into conscious awareness. Think of yourself as a plot of land. You must first clear the space before you can build the house. You clear the space of all debris. All thoughts, feelings, ideas, perceptions and judgements that keep you from building the house must be cleared. They were useful for a time, so you must not think badly of them. Now, you say you wish to experience your own True Self. So, now, you must make the space. Realize that you are not the debris. You are not those thoughts, feelings, ideas, perceptions or judgements. Those were energies that you utilized to operate within the dream. Release them into the Light. Use the energy of your imagination to watch them float away from you. Imagine yourself as a clear and empty vessel, ready to be filled from within, from your own True Self. When you experience doubt or fear, imagine yourself becoming an observer, watching yourself have those emotions and thoughts. Then remind your ego self that it is not those thoughts or emotions. It is having them. Just like you have chicken for dinner. You are not the chicken, yet the chicken becomes a part of you. You utilize the chicken to whatever degree you are able. All of these energies that you have used in the dream are a part of you, yet they are not you. You have utilized them, they have fed the dream. You have eaten from the banquet of thoughts and feelings, yet you have forgotten to eliminate that which is the waste product. When you are feeling lack in your life, you are under the influence of thought/emotion waste that has not been eliminated. It is not your own True Self, for your own True Self is not capable of experiencing lack or limitation. It is always complete. The degree that you do not feel complete, is the degree that you are utilizing the dream energies to keep your own True Self at bay. Do not concern yourself with the particular lack or limitation you are feeling, for that will keep you in those energies, the energies of the dream. If what you desire is your own True Self, then concern yourself with becoming a clear vessel for that realization. You must focus on the realization of True, of your own True Self. If you focus on the lack or limitation your surface consciousness is experiencing, then you are doomed to remain locked within the dream, the illusion. This turn around of thinking takes practice. It takes continuous reminding to train your mind. "Think of yourself as a plot of land. You must first clear the space before you can build the house." Do not be concerned for what you will eat, what you shall drink, where you shall sleep, what you shall wear and who shall love you. These things take care of themselves as you allow your own True Self to shine forth from the space you occupy as a dream being. Remind yourself that all appearance of lack and limitation dissolves in the brightness of your own True Self's Light. The ego self would tempt you to look at the lack itself, for this keeps you in the dream, and that is, after all, the ego job -- to keep you in the dream. Love the ego for doing its job so well. Be kind to it. Yet do not let it continue its mastery over your desire for Truth. This does not mean that you do not work, or cook, or take actions necessary for the physical well-being. You must take the actions necessary. You do not have to create the circumstances through which your needs are met. You must show up in order to experience the circumstance and you must put the required items to use. All things shall be added unto you. In Truth, all things are already present. Where would they go? Is there a cosmic hiding place for all things good? No, there is not. Good is everywhere present in the allness of what is. The dream or illusion would have you believe this good is hidden from you. In the dream, good appears to be hidden. It is not. The energies that are anchored in place have anchored the appearance of lack. Lack shows up in the dream as unhappiness, needs unmet, desires unfulfilled. In your own True Self there is no lack. "Make every moment a prayer offered to Divine Light. Forgive yourself every moment for believing in the doubt that appears in the dream." Focus on your own True Self. Allow your own True Self to do the work of shining its Light into that which you think of as your life. You need do nothing. Your own True Self has never stopped being, never stopped loving, never stopped shining its Light. The existence of your own True Self will come into your awareness as you create the space for the awareness. That is all you must do. Clear the space. Thoughts, feelings, emotions, ideas, perceptions and judgements all take up space in your Being. Become as an empty vessel, ready to be filled with the Light that you truly are. When you notice yourself entertaining thoughts or emotions, use your imagination to see them floating away from you, as if they were puffs of smoke. Become the Observer. Watch yourself from a point of awareness outside of yourself. It takes only practice. When you are "in it," so to speak, you are anchored in the dream, believing that you are a being of lack. Then out of fear of not having your needs met, you will attack to defend yourself. This is futile when the goal is Self Realization. If you perceive your needs as not being met, if everything in the dream confirms this false reality for you, then you are anchored in the dream and you are operating out of fear. You are a vessel filled with thoughts, emotions, beliefs, perceptions and judgements. That is all right, except when you are desirous of experiencing your own True Self consciously. The five senses of your dream self operate in the noise of your thoughts and emotions. Beyond the senses, in the place where you truly are, it is quiet. Enter the silence and your own True Self will make itself known throughout the dream you think of as your life. Make every moment a prayer offered to Divine Light. Forgive yourself every moment for believing in the doubt that appears in the dream. Give yourself permission to experience your own True Self every moment of every day. Allow yourself to be cleansed by the Light of your own True Self. Purify yourself with the fire of desire. Make your desire the desire to know thyself, first and foremost, above all else. Know that by knowing thyself, you know God. You cannot be separated from God except by the appearance of the dream. Give the dream no power. Give your thoughts no power. Give your emotions no power. Become the Watcher, observing those thoughts and emotions that would tempt you to believe you are separate from God, from you own True Self. It cannot be, it never was and it never will be. Only the dream keeps your surface consciousness from remembering. Imagining your intent as a shovel or drill, digging deeper and deeper into consciousness for that holy contact with your own True Self. Deeper and deeper you dig, clearing away all debris, until all that can be experienced is the Light of your own True Self. ~
